Finance

...should you require finance we can direct you to Barclays Commercial who have specialist health care relationship directors dedicated to the provision of financial services for Care organisations. Whether that be day-to-day banking, arranging working capital, buying costly equipment, funding growth plans/ acquisitions or dealing with capital costs associated with new regulatory requirements. Below are two real examples of where they have helped care homes:

A care home in Hampshire wanted to build an extension to give them more bed spaces. Barclays Commercial Bank worked with the owners and helped with funding for the new extension and fit out. A capital repayment holiday with the loan enabled them to manage their cashflow with repayments starting once the new rooms were occupied and generating additional income.

The owners of a care home group in Dorset wished to expand and Barclays Commercial Bank was able to help by funding the purchase of a further home to generate additional income for the group. Barclays were able to give peace of mind by arranging interest rate protection and a capital repayment holiday until the new business was fully integrated into the group.

Social Care Association
“Social Care Association was founded almost 60 years ago to promote good practice in Care - by care workers. This group, motivated by devotion to good work rather than any personal gain has underpinned our work since. We have always tried to link up with people in other sectors that can help with that objective and Coleman have demonstrated a willingness to listen and respond to the personal and organisational needs of their customers in care settings. This latest venture is a continuing example of their practice values being applied.”
